Position Purpose To meet or exceed the expectations of our clients, each and every time we are of service to them. To build strong working relationships with our present client base. Tasks Pack, re-pack, unload, and position product/goods in or around transportation vehicles. Carry needed tools or supplies from storage or trucks and return them after use. Attach identifying tags to containers or mark them with identifying information. Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments or material or equipment needs. Record numbers of units handled or moved, using operational documents. Move freight, stock, or other materials to and from storage or production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, ships, or containers, by hand or using trucks, tractors, or other equipment. Sort, record & organize cargo/customer goods before loading and unloading or situating for storage. Confer with customers by telephone, email or in person to provide information about products or services related to their contracted offerings, take or enter orders and obtain details regarding inventory or storage. Keep records of customer interactions or transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, or comments, as well as actions taken. AOG experience a plus. Hazmat certification a plus. Willing to work a variable schedule, including overtime, weekends, and holidays. Education: Industry‑related degree and/or certification. Knowledge Transportation — Knowledge of principles and methods for moving freight or goods by air, rail, sea, or road, including the relative costs and benefits. Customer and Personal Service — Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction. Public Safety and Security — Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective local, state, or national security operations for the protection of people, data, property, and institutions. Mathematics — Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and their applications. English Language — Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language, including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
