Facilities Helper

The Facilities Helper supports the day-to-day operation, cleanliness, safety, and basic maintenance of a machine shop and surrounding facility. This position performs a variety of general labor and facility-support duties, including housekeeping, material handling, basic maintenance assistance, waste removal, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working around machinery, tools, and industrial equipment. High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous experience in a machine shop, manufacturing, warehouse, maintenance, or industrial environment is preferred but not required. Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with common hand tools. Ability to safely lift, carry, push, and pull materials and equipment. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and workplace safety. Reliable attendance and a positive, team-oriented attitude. Willingness to learn new tools, equipment, and procedures.
