Senior Mechanical EngineerAkron, Ohio, United StatesAbout the JobKey Responsibilities: The Senior Mechanical Engineer has a variety of responsibilities including:Engineering/specification of mechanical equipment, including material handling equipment, pumps, pressure vessels, tanks, heat exchangers, and other process equipmentPipe stress analysis/pipe support designLead Engineer for projectsInterfaces with other engineering disciplines and clientsPerforms field work as neededQualifications: Education/Experience:Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering degreeA minimum fifteen years experienceExperience in some or all of the areas of engineering mentioned aboveProfessional Engineering license a plusEligibility Requirements:Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restrictionAuthorizes a background investigation, including verification of past employment, criminal history, and educational backgroundSubmits to a drug test post offerPossesses a valid drivers licenseAccepts that this position may require some domestic overnight travel
