Summary/Objective 

We are seeking a motivated Pre-Litigation Paralegal to join Harding Mazzotti, LLP’s team in Burlington, VT. This role is responsible for assisting lawyers in the pre-litigation stage of a variety of cases. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent written and verbal communication, and the ability to adhere to strict deadlines. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in the legal field with potential for growth and career advancement.

Please note that this is a full-time, on-site position with a 37.5-hour work week. 

Essential Functions:

 

• Data entry into the firm’s electronic database and storage system
• Organize and maintain electronic database, storage system, and physical files
• Assist attorneys and case coordinators with the day-to-day handling of files and caseloads
• Communicate with clients by phone and email
• Communicate basic information with insurance adjusters via phone, email, and fax
• Draft
