If you want to be part of an inclusive, adaptable, and forward-thinking organization, apply now.We are currently seeking a Senior Data Engineer - Snowflake to join our team in Remote, New York (US-NY), United States (US).Project Overview:The team has developed an analytics application prototype in-house, with a risk developer leading the quantitative analysis and PowerBI development. The primary challenge is handling massive, stock-level datasets rather than highly complex calculations.Phase 1 is implemented in PowerBI and currently in testing, with a select launch planned for Q3 and broader production rollout targeted for Q4. Phase 2 development is expected in Q3, with launch targeted for Q1 2027. This resource will work full-time alongside the risk developer and support the working group for approximately six months.Day to Day Job Duties: (what this person will do on a daily/weekly basis)· Design, build, and optimize a robust, production-grade data flow capable of processing massive, high-volume stock-level datasets – the core technical challenge of this project.· Work full-time alongside the risk developer (who leads the quantitative analysis and PowerBI development) and support the broader working group.· Develop data testing scripts and perform data validation and cleanup to ensure data quality across high-volume sources.· Support the PowerBI dashboard front end, which is expected to plug into Amazon Athena by year-end.· Contribute to Phase 1 hardening and testing ahead of the select launch (Q3) and broader production rollout (Q4).· Support Phase 2 development during Q3, targeting a Q1 2027 launch.Basic Qualifications (Required):· 8+ years of Strong data engineering experience, including hands-on work with Snowflake, SQL, and dbt.· 8+ years of Proven experience building and optimizing production data pipelines for very large datasets.· 8+ years of Some data science exposure, particularly using Python analytics packages (e.g., pandas, NumPy).· Some PowerBI experience.Nice to Have (But not a must):· 6+ years of Financial services or capital markets domain knowledge.· 6+ years of Investment risk experience – helpful, though not expected to be at SME/guru level.· 6+ years of Experience with Amazon Athena or migrating BI / reporting workloads to cloud query engines.Engagement Details:Location: North America-basedDuration: Approximately 6 monthsStart Date: June 15, 2026Commitment: Full-timeAbout NTT DATANTT DATA is a $30 billion business and technology services leader, serving 75% of the Fortune Global 100.
