Experienced Automotive Service Technician

We are looking for an experienced automotive technician to join our team at Newton Nissan South. The ideal candidate will be proficient in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction. We are not open on Sundays Paid Holidays Positive Work Culture - Family-oriented and genuinely friendly work environment Health Benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Disability) Financial Savings Plan (401K) Opportunity to Pick-Up Additional Hours - Steady work load with an average of 2500 ROs/month, providing 50+ hour work weeks Ongoing Training and Education (via manufacturer and ASE reimbursement program) This is a new facility with AC, all new lifts and alignment equipment, clean Service department including ___ bays and a large Parts department, mployee locker room Uniforms are provided Employee Vehicle Purchase and Service Discounts Responsibilities: Performs work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards Tests components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment Diagnoses, maintains, and repairs vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning Communicates directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed including providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs Executes repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications Adheres to dealership policies and procedures, including safety guidelines, warranty standards, and Service Department protocols Maintains a great attitude Keep your area and the customer's cars clean Requirements: High school diploma At least 3 years of experience as an automotive service technician preferred ASE certification preferred Strong teamwork skillsKnowledge in all aspects of automotive troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance Proficiency in operating diagnostic tools and equipment Willing to further their knowledge through dealer and manufacturer training programs.
