Lake Norden, United States | Posted on 03/30/2026 The Maintenance Technician I position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives. Responsibilities Install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment. Performs scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) of production and facility equipment as well as emergency/unscheduled repairs of any such equipment when necessary. Documents all investigations and diagnoses made along with work performed, parts replaced and testing conducted to return a piece of equipment to normal acceptable operating conditions. Perform general maintenance/repair tasks, including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, troubleshooting and repair. Read and interpret equipment manuals and PM work orders to perform required maintenance and service. Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments. Use a variety of hand and bench power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties. Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervisor. Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas. Comply with company policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned. Requirements High school diploma/GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship, or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience. 4+ years of manufacturing experience; strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills with some PLC experience and HVAC. Technical Capacity Ethical Conduct Highly organized and detail-oriented with good written and verbal communication skills. Self- motivated and good time management skills. Physical Job Requirements While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to be independently mobile to move safely within the plant. Must be physically able to see, hear and possess manual dexterity to use various hand tools. Must be physically able to move and lift items up to 40 pounds on an occasional basis. #J-18808-Ljbffr
