Every other weekend requirement.

Are you passionate about enriching the lives of others and creating meaningful experiences for seniors? We're seeking a compassionate, energetic, and dedicated Activities Assistant to join our team. In this role, you'll help foster a vibrant, resident-centered environment by planning and supporting engaging activities that promote socialization, wellness, and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with resident assessments, activity planning, and maintaining activity profiles.
• Help organize and facilitate a variety of recreational and social programs, including games, crafts, movies, parties, and special events.
• Encourage resident participation and engagement in activities that promote physical, emotional, social, and spiritual well-being.
• Support religious services, community celebrations, and other resident-focused programs.
• Collaborate with the Community Life Director to enhance and expand activity offerings.
• Contribute creative ideas and innovative approaches that improve resident experiences and program effectiveness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience providing recreational or activity services in a healthcare, senior living, or related setting preferred.
• Valid, current, and unrestricted state driver's license required.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Compassionate, dependable, and committed to providing exceptional service and care to residents.
