Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)

*Job Overview:*

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice and provide exceptional patient care. *Responsibilities:*

- Assist hygienists during patient exams, cleanings, and procedures
- Prepare and maintain treatment rooms and equipment
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure and pulse
- Utilize anatomy knowledge to assist with patient positioning and visualization
- Demonstrate aseptic technique to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Manage medical documentation and maintain accurate patient records
- Utilize Dentrix software for scheduling and dental charting purposes
- Perform medical coding and billing tasks
- Collaborate with the team to provide comprehensive patient care
- Perform other administrative and clinical tasks as needed

*Qualifications:*

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a dental assisting program would be preferred but not necessary
- Proficiency in medical terminology
- Experience with dental imaging procedures
- Familiarity with dental software, including Dentrix
- Knowledge of dental coding and billing processes would be preferred but not necessary
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift equipment and supplies
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment
- Certification in Dental Assisting or willingness to obtain

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
