Store/Shop Manager, Automotive Glass Repair & Replacement

Experienced managers can earn $30/hr or more with the lucrative bonuses we provide above and beyond our competitive base salaries!

PAID TRAINING!

In less than 60 days, you’ll be accountable for your team’s execution of our company standards for repairing windshields and replacing automotive glass for our customers.

Benefits:

• Earn $25/hour during training and $50k - $120k+ per year after as a Shop Manager

Job duties & requirements:

• Open and close shop daily (Monday-Friday 7:30am-430pm)
• Assist with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, & training new Glass Techs and Customer Service Reps as needed
• Oversee daily shop functions and ensure quality control on every install
• Manage staff appropriately, make sure everyone is on time and ready to work, train and shadow as needed
• Create employee schedules, & routes and communicate high urgency jobs appropriately
• Manage timeclock and ensure clock in/outs are accurate and timesheets reflect correctly
• Controlling inventory: Conduct weekly inventory counts and return parts as needed
• Quote jobs, schedule jobs, order parts as needed, balance registers, close out invoices
• Manage product supply orders and physically restock and manage inventory of supplies as necessary
• Understanding the shop’s financials to drive results and utilize budget wisely
• Conducting quarterly employee evaluations
• Supporting other team members with duties such as responding to customers questions and repairing glass
• Provide excellent customer service and exceed customer expectations
• Manage customer call backs and complaints
• This is a very fast paced shop and things move quickly candidate must be invested mentally and engaged daily.
• Role and Responsibilities
• This is a Full Time Management Position. Management is responsible for the overall success of the shop including but not limited to professionalism, attitudes and company morale, establishing a team of professionals who enjoy coming to work, being a part of a TEAM and doing their job t0 the best of their capabilities.
• Oversee the daily operations of the shop and the store, including knowledge of opening and closing procedures.
• Knowledge of creating Invoices and Invoice management.
• Scheduling of jobs daily according to technician capabilities.
• Provide high levels of customer service, assisting in staffing, scheduling and/or making necessary modifications.
• Drive team performance to ensure company goals are met or exceeded, including but not limited to job completion, customer conversion and quality, as well as compliance with federal, state and local regulations.
• Assist in Managing current Accounts and helping to acquire new.
• Assist in training technicians, re-training and coaching to ensure that all technicians are performing quality installs or repairs on every job.
• Provide guidance in assisting owner with positive reinforcements and holding all staff accountable.
• Ensure proper vehicle and equipment maintenance are scheduled routinely with proper documentation.
• Inspect other team members periodically and assist with installations when needed.
• Provide world class customer service by responding quickly to client complaints/warranty issues and communicating with the owners.
• Responsible for holding all employees accountable for all policies and procedures. Completes write ups and terminations as needed.
• Hold bi-weekly meeting with staff reviewing policies and procedures, safety and any issues that arise to ensure everyone knows expectations and daily responsibilities.
• Ensures the shop is cleaned and orderly each day,
• This position reports directly to the Owner and is responsible for the duties of each technician as well as contributes to the overall success of the shop.
• Delegate duties as needed when slow or when there is down time such as cleaning office, shop, shop grounds, restocking supplies, taking out trash, etc.
• Responsible for communicating any current and future issues with staff and or customers/jobs to Owner and Management.

Store/Shop Manager needs to meet the following requirements:

• Must be able to lift to 50 pounds
• Must be able to maneuver around vehicles to position yourself safely during installations
• Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, etc. for extended periods of time and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning
• Must be willing to work in hot/cold weather conditions if necessary
• Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record
• Must pass a drug test for safety and be drug free
• Must be willing to work early hours and up to 55 hours per week on occasion
• Must have basic computer operating skills
• Must be dependable
• Must have experience in the Auto Glass Industry
