Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments of patients, including thorough physical examinations and extensive medical history reviews.
• Assist in evaluating and diagnosing surgical conditions with the analysis of imaging studies and lab results.
• Work in close collaboration with surgeons to formulate and carry out personalized surgical treatment plans.
• Provide intraoperative support, handling the organization of operating rooms and ensuring proper patient positioning, as well as managing instrument transfers during procedures.
• Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative care, which includes administering medications, managing wound care, creating discharge plans, and educating patients.

Education and Certifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Experience in clinical rotations with an emphasis on surgical practice is highly preferred.

Licenses and Registrations

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification.
• Certifications in BLS and ACLS are required.
• State licensure (or eligibility) to practice as a Physician Assistant.
