Registered Nurse In Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

The role involves floating to various ICU and intermediate care units. The RN will care for patients in critical and intermediate care settings. The position requires working nights, with options for 36 or 48 hours per week. Every other weekend and every other holiday are mandatory. The RN must adhere to float policies and manage patient care effectively. The job includes work on major holidays such as Thanksgiving and New Year's. The position may involve caring for patients with special pathogens, including those with COVID-19. The nurse will engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with support services. The ideal candidate must demonstrate proficiency in emergency response and accept varying patient ratios. Additional responsibilities will include monitoring and managing complex patient needs in a high-acuity environment. Professional conduct, effective communication, and adherence to safety protocols are expected at all times.
