Our organization is looking for a full-time Family Medicine Physician to become part of the Graduate Medical Education (GME) Program at a regional medical center located in Denison, Texas. This role is primarily academic, providing a unique chance to guide and educate future physicians while balancing a clinical practice in a nurturing and collaborative teaching atmosphere.

- Call: Limited on-call responsibilities (subject to program requirements)
- Patient Volume: Manageable clinical workload with dedicated academic time
- Location: Denison, Texas (approximately 60 miles north of Dallas)
- Practice Setting: Academic, hospital-based Family Medicine Residency Program
- Support / Care Team: Collaborate with the Program Director, faculty physicians, residents, and an interdisciplinary team
- EMR / Technology: Utilization of modern EMR and teaching resources
- Deliver outpatient and/or inpatient Family Medicine care while overseeing residents
- Act as a clinical instructor, engaging in didactics, curriculum design, and resident education
- Assess resident performance and assist in recruitment initiatives
- Ensure adherence to institutional and accreditation standards for the program
- Engage in scholarly activities and contribute to program development
- Document patient care using the hospital's EMR system

- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
- Possession of an active or eligible Texas medical license
- Preferred experience in teaching, mentoring, or academic medicine
- Obstetrics experience or fellowship training is a plus
- Interest or experience in prenatal care and/or medication-assisted treatment (MAT) is advantageous
- Core faculty position with opportunities for leadership and academic progression
- Active participation in curriculum development and resident education
