Java Full-Stack Developer

Location: Menands, NY 100% Onsite

Contract: 10/26/2026 11/30/2027

Hours: 40 hrs/week



All visa open



State Expereince highly desired

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Java-based UPHN interfaces for NYS immunization data exchange.
• Work with Spring Boot, Java EE, REST APIs, WSDL/SOAP, and relational databases .
• Support HL7 messaging and provider onboarding/conformance testing.
• Improve system performance, reliability, high availability, and disaster recovery .
• Lead development teams, review requirements, design technical solutions, and provide technical guidance.
• Manage testing, debugging, documentation, release management, and change control .

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, MIS, or equivalent .
• 6+ years software development experience.
• 6+ years Java experience, including Spring Boot/Java EE .
• 6+ years relational database experience Oracle/PostgreSQL preferred.
• US work authorization.
• Must be willing to work onsite in Menands, NY .

Preferred:

• 6+ years Angular/TypeScript & SPA development.
• REST API security/authentication/authorization .
• Git & branching strategies .
• CI/CD experience.
• Healthcare/ HL7 experience is a strong plus.
