Bartender - Ro Hyde Park

At Ro Hyde Park, hospitality is a sensory discipline. Every detail matters - from the first sip to the last impression. We're looking for someone who treats every pour as a performance and every guest as the main character of their night. As a Bartender, you'll stand at the center of that experience, building connections across the bar, translating our modern Asian menu into liquid form, and setting the tone for an unforgettable evening.
What You'll Do- Craft and serve cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic drinks with precision and personality
- Anticipate the bar's needs - garnishes prepped, glasses gleaming, bottles displayed with intention before doors open
- Take orders with warmth from guests and floor staff alike, keeping service seamless during peak hours
- Maintain an immaculate, well-stocked bar environment that reflects Ro's standards of excellence
- Handle cash and POS transactions accurately and confidently
- Verify identification and use sound judgment to ensure a safe, welcoming environment for every guest
- Submit orders and requisitions to keep the bar fully supplied - anticipating needs before they become gaps
- Stay composed and professional when situations get complicated - your calm is part of the service
- Deep knowledge of spirits, cocktail technique, and bar service
- A natural gift for conversation and reading the room
- Grace under pressure - you don't rattle easily
- Comfort with POS systems (or a willingness to learn fast)
- High school diploma or GED
- Mixology or bartending certification
- 1+ year of bartending experience preferred
- Must be of legal drinking age
- Extended periods standing and moving behind the bar
- Ability to lift up to 15 lbs (kegs, crates, cases)
