Full Time Cellar Worker

Job Description:

Brick & Mortar Custom Crush, located in the Healdsburg, CA is looking for a full time cellar worker to join our team. We focus on premium small lot production from 3-12 ton lots, including sparkling wine production.

We are hiring a full time, all-around cellar position. The successful candidate will be involved in every aspect of production from berry to bottle. Employee will be paid hourly based upon experience.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Operating pumps and crush/press equipment
Operating a forklift and stacking barrels
Filling/topping and racking barrels
Transferring/racking tanks
Filtering and bottling
Cleaning

Requirements of the position include but are not limited to the following:
2 years previous experience in a winery environment is required.
Forklift experience is preferred.
Able to understand, communicate and write in English.
Must have good reading, writing and basic arithmetic skills.
Caution and adherence to safety protocol is essential.
Willing and able to work safely around dangerous equipment, electrical outlets and chemicals.
Must be reliable, self-motivated, willing to learn and improve, have a positive attitude and possess a good work ethic.
Willing and able to work alone, or part of a team.
Willing to work overtime as needed, especially during harvest.
Able to lift and carry 50 lbs.
