KO702 - Full-Time Nanny - Upper East Side, NY

Overview

A very kind and busy Upper East Side Family is looking for an additional nanny to join their home. The family has three children, ages 6, 3, and 6 months, and is looking for someone who is collaborative, proactive, and comfortable working as part of a team alongside mom and the current nanny. The role is Monday through Friday, from 11 am to 8 pm, with some flexibility as needed. There is both international and domestic travel, including 5 weeks in Bermuda and one week in France. Ideally, this can be split between caregivers.

Responsibilities

• Primary focus will be caring for the baby in the afternoons, while also supporting with all three children during evening routines and bedtime
• Working on a team with mom and a full-time nanny to ensure the day runs smoothly. 
• Overseeing and helping with all the following
  • Providing attentive, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate care for children
• • All aspects of sole charge care when needed

  • Planning engaging, age-appropriate activities and outings

  • Preparing simple, healthy meals for the children 

  • Maintaining the organization of children’s clothing, toys, and personal spaces

  • Packing and preparing for travel (including children’s wardrobes and essentials)

  • Supporting the family during travel, including assisting on flights and at destinations

  • Coordinating pick-ups and drop-offs for the children to school, activities, and appointments

  • Proactively managing supplies (clothing, household items for the children, etc.) and communicating needs

  • Light child-related household duties (laundry, tidying, organization)

  • Overnights from time to time, when mom or dad are traveling, grandma would also help here

Qualifications

• Strong instincts, positive energy, and a “no job too small” mindset are important to us
• Someone warm, reliable, and highly capable
• An ideal candidate will have experience managing multiple children and partnering closely with parents.

• Strong communicator with excellent judgment and initiative

Requirements

• Must be comfortable working in a shared-care environment and jumping in wherever needed
• Comfortable traveling internationally and working in dynamic environments (Bermuda, Franca, Etc). 
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive

• Warm, positive, and genuinely passionate about working with children

Salary and Benefits

The family is offering $40-$45 per hr-dependingon experience and flexibility, PTO, and a monthly health insurance contribution
