Hematology/Oncology Physician

• ASAP - Ongoing Need
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
• Practice Setting: Free-Standing Cancer Center
• Reason for Coverage: Loss of provider
• 4-week availability each month, with 4 days of availability each week.
• Must be able to work for at least 6 month initial contract

• Locum Period: No call required
• Permanent Placement: Call expected
  • Call Schedule: 1 week every 6-8 weeks
  • Call Ratio: 1 week every 6-8 weeks

• Adult
• Geriatric

• 65% Benign Hematology
• 35% Malignant Oncology
• 0% Internal Medicine

• Physicians: 7
• APPs: 6

• Outpatient: 25 patients per day
• Inpatient (Call/Rounding): 20 patients per day

• Oncology - Outpatient Setting
• Oncology - Inpatient Setting
• Participation on Tumor Board
• Management of Bone Marrow Transplants
• Blood Bank involvement
• Order tests and imaging
• Prescribing responsibilities
• Chemotherapy Administration: Nurse Oncologist

• EMR: EPIC

• Board Certified in Hematology & Oncology - Required
• Active South Carolina license (will accept providers needing to obtain) - Required
• BLS & DEA - Required
• Clean background required for emergency temps - Required
