Oracle Database Administrator

Qualifications Minimum (Required):
- Required working non-traditional work hours including overnight and weekends.
- Experience with business customer support of critical systems (applications).
- Experience with Oracle Database/PL/SQL experience and setting up system connections
- Experience with upgrading, maintaining, troubleshooting, and administering a Mobile Workforce Management (MWM), Meter Data Management System (MDMS), or similar complex-enterprise application system that includes large volumes of data and complex interfaces including job scheduling and disaster recovery plans (SDLC-DEV, TEST, and PROD).
- Experience with UNIX navigation, AIX/LINUX (specifically Red Hat & SUSE) along with understanding and writing shell scripting such as KornShell (ksh) Scripting.
- Experience evaluating system performance and health checks by implementing tuning improvements and performing system sizing estimates
- Experience with Java, Groovy, JavaScript, and Python.
- Experience with developing and supporting application programming interfaces, including Error Handling processes.
- Experience managing enterprise applications using Java/Web Services under limited supervision with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience with WebLogic 12.2 for server maintenance.
- Experience with reports development in complex applications.
- Implements application security procedures and ensure compliance of all security policies, procedures and standards. Building key stores and updating in Java.
- Experience documenting and communicating IT processes and procedures to multiple audience levels and across multiple platforms.
- Effective time management, multi-tasking, self-sufficiency/proactive nature, disciplined and process oriented, effective/lean work habits, teamwork. Self-starter with effective time management and synergy with the ability to handle multiple complex priorities or tasks at once.
- Experience with Landis+Gyr Meter Data Management System (MDMS) - Knowledge and understanding of MDMS.
- Experience with Oracle Mobile Workforce Management system (MWM)- Knowledge and understanding of MWM.
- Knowledge and understanding of technology stacks, and the impacts there within.
