Travel Physical Therapist - Home Health

American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist with home health experience for a float position covering the South Region/Braintree Branch area of Massachusetts.

Job Details

• Home health setting; patients are seen in their place of residence,
• Float position covering a wide service territory across the South Region, including communities such as Braintree, Quincy, Plymouth, Brockton, Attleboro, Dedham, Dorchester, and surrounding areas,
• Patient population ranges from newborns to elderly adults with physical impairments, functional limitations, or disabilities resulting from injury, disease, or other causes,
• Shift hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM,
• Weekend rotations required approximately once every 6 weeks,
• Charting performed in Epic,
• Time keeping via UKG/Kronos,

Job Requirements

• Active Massachusetts PT license required; MA Conditional Licenses are not accepted,
• Minimum 1 year of home health/home care experience required,
• All certifications must be issued by the American Heart Association (AHA),
• Flu vaccine required; no religious or medical exemptions accepted,
• Ability to travel independently to patient cases throughout the assigned service territory,
• License required if applicable,

Additional Information

• Primary responsibilities include evaluation and treatment of patients in their home, with a focus on improving physical function and mobility,
• Collaboration with patients, families, physicians, and allied health team members is a core component of this role,
• Timely electronic documentation and interdisciplinary communication required per agency standards,
• 2 professional references required for consideration,
• RTO requests must be disclosed at time of consideration,
• Local candidates residing within 60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston are eligible but will receive a reduced rate,
• Parking costs may apply at certain locations; no validated parking available at Boston locations
