Summary of Position The Sr. Receptionist ensures the reception area operates efficiently, all reception duties are handled effectively, and all responsibilities are carried out in accordance with MacroGenics procedures. This position works closely with other support positions at MacroGenics. Responsibilities and Job Duties * Professionally answer, screen, and direct incoming calls to appropriate personnel or departments. * Maintain and monitor automated attendant systems to ensure proper functionality. * Ensure the reception and lobby areas are clean, organized, and presentable at all times. * Greet and assist visitors courteously; determine the purpose of visits and ensure compliance with established security and access procedures. * Manage visitor check-in processes, including entry into the Visitor System and issuing appropriate badges.
- Coordinate and distribute taxi vouchers for guests as needed.
- Process incoming deliveries and shipments, promptly notifying recipients
