Corporate Controller

Controller Position

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Controller to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $200,000 to $250,000 per year.

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, and close processes across multiple business units and locations.
• Manage general ledger activities, inventory accounting, fixed asset accounting, and other core accounting functions.
• Lead the preparation and review of financial statements, management reports, and consolidated financial results.
• Partner with operations and leadership teams to support cost analysis, capital investments, budgeting, and financial decision making.
• Drive process improvements, strengthen internal controls, and develop accounting staff to support organizational growth.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including controllership or senior accounting leadership responsibilities.
• Previous experience overseeing multi entity accounting, financial consolidations, and enterprise level financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial statement preparation, internal controls, and audit support activities.
• Advanced proficiency with ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, and financial reporting tools.

Qualifications

• CPA credential preferred.
• Manufacturing, production, food and beverage, or other inventory intensive industry experience.
• Public accounting experience.
• Proven ability to lead accounting teams, standardize processes, and improve reporting efficiency in a multi site environment.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and leadership levels.
