Job Summary:Seeking an experienced CVOR Registered Nurse for a high-acuity surgical environment. This role requires a strong independent OR circulator with current Cardiovascular OR experience. The RN will support a variety of surgical procedures while also participating in CVOR-specific call coverage.
Candidates must have recent Cardiovascular Thoracic surgery experience and be comfortable independently circulating a broad range of OR cases.
Requirements:
Current CVOR experience required
Strong independent OR circulator experience required
Experience with:
- Cardio Thoracic surgery
- Bypass surgery
- Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG)
BLS required (AHA only)
ACLS required (AHA only)
Active licensure and certifications required at submission
No pending licenses or certifications accepted
Additional Preferred Experience:Candidates should also be comfortable circulating cases in:
General Surgery
GYN
Urology
ENT
Orthopedics
Neuro
Robotics
Plastics
Role Details:
CVOR cases are intermittent, not daily
Call responsibilities apply only to CVOR cases
RNs will assist with routine, urgent, and trauma surgical procedures
Responsibilities include both pre-op and post-op care
Facility Expectations:
- Candidates must be fully pre-closed for:
- Day shift with call
- No license or background hits accepted- Facility moves quickly with interviews and offers
