Tech - Echo/Ultrasound/Sonographer

Job Description

Job Summary:

Seeking a dedicated Ultrasound Tech to provide high-quality imaging services in a busy radiology department. The role involves performing vascular and obstetric ultrasounds in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations, including vascular and obstetric procedures.
Operate GE ultrasound equipment and ensure optimal image quality.
Follow department policies and guidelines to maintain compliance and patient safety.
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to deliver accurate results.
Maintain detailed documentation of examinations performed and equipment usage.
Ensure patient comfort and address any concerns during procedures.

Qualifications:

Valid ARRT (S) or ARDMS certification required.
Minimum of 6 months' current Ultrasound Tech experience.
Proficient in vascular and OB ultrasound procedures.
Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
Prior experience working in large trauma facilities preferred.
Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
