Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department
Schedule: 12-hour shifts with rotations between day and night. Must be flexible with floating to various areas. Required to work 2 weekends per schedule period.
Assignment Details: Guaranteed Hours: 48 Contract Weeks: 14
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1.5 years of recent Level I or II Emergency Department experience or 2+ years of recent Level 3/4 Emergency Department experience.
- Must be able to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips and identify heart blocks.
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, PALS (must be active/unexpired).
- Experience with EMR systems, particularly EPIC is preferred.
- Critical care experience is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care in a busy Emergency Department setting.
- Assess, plan, and implement nursing care for patients.
- Monitor and document patient vital signs and responses to treatment.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support patient outcomes.
- Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards in patient care.
