Corporate Tax - Sr. Manager

Title: Senior Manager, Corporate Tax Location: Somerset County, NJ Hybrid: 2 days work remote Salary : $165k to $180k plus incentives Overview Corporate Tax position with a great work / life balance. Our client is targeting a tax professional with 8 - 10 years of experience, including Federal Income Tax Compliance. Responsibilities Manage a small team of tax professionals. Develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and executive management. Responsible for managing federal income tax compliance function of a complex structure and own the federal tax return prep process. Oversee all tax return preps, including estimates and extensions. Review federal tax filings including the consolidated return. Manage the creation / delivery of a comprehensive executive review package. Leverage Alteryx, Qlik and other digital tools to streamline and optimize tax processes. Ensure the accuracy and efficiency of federal tax processes. Manage the tax liability to ensure the proper amount of tax is paid over the year. Implement tax planning strategies to minimize taxes / effective tax rate. Provide support for the tax provision processes. Qualifications Bachelor's degree. CPA, Masters of Tax or Masters of Accounting. Big 4 / Top regional a plus 8+ years (including internships) experience Strong working knowledge of federal income taxes. Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint experience. Experience with Alteryx or Qlik is a plus. Data management and automation skills required. Strong communication skills.
