Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from accredited schools approved by the APTA
• Active State License is Required to Start the Assignment
• BLS Certification May Be Required from AHA or ARC
• At least 1 year of experience required
• New grads are not accepted

Assignment Details

• 13-week assignment
• Patient population: Outpatient Ortho
• Will see 12-14 patients per day
• Double-booking of follow up visits expected
• Productivity expectation is 60 visits per week
• First-time travelers accepted
• PTA candidates will not be accepted
• Float to other clinics is not required

Location Highlights

Augusta offers access to both outdoor recreation and established city attractions. The Augusta Riverwalk runs along the Savannah River in downtown Augusta, and Phinizy Swamp Nature Park offers boardwalk trails and wildlife viewing about 8 miles from central Augusta. Augusta is home to the Augusta Museum of History and the Morris Museum of Art, and the city sits along the Georgia-South Carolina border with quick access to North Augusta across the river. Clarks Hill Lake is about 30 miles from Augusta and supports boating and fishing, while Hitchcock Woods in nearby Aiken provides more than 2,000 acres of trails within about 25 miles of the city.
