Lead Systems Engineer

Driving the evolution of a comprehensive design system, the temporary Design Systems Lead will work remotely to create cohesive, accessible, and intuitive user experiences while collaborating with engineering teams and mentoring designers and developers. Key responsibilities Apply design methodologies to validate design direction and produce high-fidelity comps and UI toolkits Collaborate with accessibility experts to ensure inclusive design and meet evolving accessibility requirements Lead design reviews and empower team members through onboarding and training on the design system Required qualifications Over 7 years of experience in UX, interaction, product, and/or visual design, with at least 3 years focused on design systems Proven ability to design for diverse platforms, including native mobile and responsive web Advanced proficiency in design principles and hands-on expertise in leading design tools Strong understanding of design system methodologies and documentation best practices Demonstrated experience in implementing accessibility and inclusive design principles
