The Lead Data Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and managing scalable data integration frameworks and data platforms. This role involves leading engineering teams, implementing data solutions, and ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and scalability of data systems. The candidate will work on data warehouses, data lakes, and large-scale data processing while driving best practices in data engineering and analytics.

Strong experience in designing and implementing ETL/ELT solutions. Hands-on experience with data warehouses, data lakes, and large-scale data systems. Strong knowledge of data modeling, dimensional modeling, and data warehousing concepts. Experience with big data platforms such as Hadoop or similar technologies. Strong understanding of data integration frameworks and best practices. Ability to lead and manage technical teams.

8+ years of experience in data engineering and leading cross-functional teams. Experience developing and maintaining ETL/ELT scripts. Hands-on experience with application development and relational database design.

Lead the design, configuration, implementation, and management of data integration frameworks. Define and develop best practices for data management environments. Develop and maintain data infrastructure including data warehouses and data lakes. Prepare and manipulate large datasets using big data technologies. Provide guidance on data modeling including dimensional and denormalized structures. Oversee delivery of data engineering projects and initiatives. Support long-term data initiatives and ad-hoc analysis activities. Implement data extraction, transformation, and loading processes. Enforce best practices for data auditing, scalability, and performance. Analyze data and provide actionable insights and reports. Design and implement quality control procedures for data sets. Continuously improve technical knowledge and adopt industry best practices.

Strong programming skills in SQL, NoSQL, or Python. Deep understanding of database design and implementation concepts. Knowledge of data exchange and data movement concepts. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
