Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of recent Registered Nurse experience required
• Previous psychiatric nursing or behavioral health RN experience preferred
• Active RN license in the state of Pennsylvania or compact eligibility, if applicable
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and de-escalation skills
• Ability to work effectively with interdisciplinary care teams in a mental health care setting
• Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered nursing care

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in a psychiatric and behavioral health setting
• Assess patient conditions, monitor progress, and document care accurately in the medical record
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with provider orders and facility protocols
• Support crisis intervention, therapeutic communication, and emotional stabilization for patients and families
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate individualized care plans
• Promote patient safety, emotional support, and a structured healing environment
