CNC Technician

Compensation: $55,000 annually, depending on experience Location: Overland Park, Kansas Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled CNC Technician to join their team! This is a strong opportunity for a hands‑on machinist who enjoys working with precision equipment, solving routine production challenges, and contributing to high‑quality output. In this role, you’ll support a busy manufacturing environment by setting up and running CNC machines, interpreting drawings, and keeping production moving efficiently. Key Responsibilities & Duties: Set up CNC machines with proper tooling, fixtures, and materials Run established CNC programs with accuracy and efficiency Verify zero points, tooling, and material orientation before cutting Read production drawings and job packets with minimal guidance Perform in‑process and final quality inspections Troubleshoot routine machine, tooling, and material issues Make approved adjustments to feeds, speeds, and toolpaths Complete routine machine maintenance and cleaning Support workflow with production, engineering, and fabrication teams Required Qualifications & Experience: 2‑4 years of CNC machine operation experience in manufacturing Working knowledge of CNC machining principles and setups Ability to read and interpret production and engineering drawings Strong attention to detail and quality control Ability to solve routine machining issues independently Good time management and task ownership Clear and professional communication skills Competent operation of CNC and standard fabrication equipment Nice to Have Skills & Experience: Familiarity with G‑code and M‑code Experience with overhead gantry use Forklift or scissor lift training Knowledge of materials, tooling, and bit identification OSHA 10 certification Experience in a fast‑paced production environment This opportunity includes a comprehensive and competitive benefits package—details will be shared during later stages of the hiring process.
