About the Position

# Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Southeast Texas**Start Date:** August 24, 2026 **Location:** Conroe, Texas **Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants **Schedule:** 12-hour shifts with rotating days and nights; every other weekend required**Highlights:** - 30-bed Emergency Department with hall bed capacity in a busy, acute care setting- 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio supporting balanced workload and quality care- Meditech EMR system with modern equipment including Baxter IV pumps, GE monitors, ventilators, and BiPAP/CPAP- Collaborative team environment with 77 ED staff members including RNs, CNs, paramedics, and LVNs- Exposure to diverse procedures including moderate sedation, cardiac monitoring, TNK administration, and IV/blood draws- Opportunities to work alongside multidisciplinary team members across rotating shift schedules**Requirements:** - Active or compact Texas RN license- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification required- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification required- ENPC certification preferred- NIH Stroke Scale competency preferred- Strong assessment skills with compassion and empathy for patients and families- Team-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced emergency care environment**Why It's a Great Opportunity:** This Emergency Department role offers the chance to work in a collaborative, well-staffed environment where compassionate care meets clinical excellence.
