Float Med-Surg/ED RN for Critical Access Hospital
Location: North Kohala, Hawaii
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: 12-hour shifts, days and/or nights depending on the needs, including weekends and holidays.
Job Description: We are seeking a Float Med-Surg/ED RN to join our team at a Critical Access Hospital in North Kohala, Hawaii. This role requires strong EPIC experience to effectively support various departments and deliver high-quality patient care in both the Medical-Surgical and Emergency Department settings.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care in both Med-Surg and Emergency Department environments.
- Utilize EPIC systems for patient documentation and management.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure the best patient outcomes.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions and communicate changes to the medical team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Support and educate patients and their families about care plans.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Active RN license in the state of Hawaii.
- Strong experience with EPIC electronic health records.
- Previous experience in Med-Surg and Emergency Department preferred.
