About the Position

Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: RRT Specialty: Respiratory Therapy Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1-2+ Years License: Must hold Iowa License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP Must-Have Skills/Experience: Some neonatal and pediatric experience Description: Candidates must be able to start 7-10 days from offer acceptance. Iowa license must be in hand at time of submission. Background checks must be fully cleared prior to start. Mandatory reporter certification for both child and adult is required. A drug test must include a 10-panel screening, including opiates. There will be options for Monday or Tuesday starts. Candidates must have some neonatal and pediatric experience. The patient population includes adults, geriatrics, and possible micro-preemies to hospice. The unit features Vocsn ventilators and V60 bipaps. The environment emphasizes individualized care for patients and support for families and friends. Training and high-quality medical staff are emphasized to provide a complete range of services. Candidates may be required to float within a 25-mile radius of the facility. The expected patient ratio aligns with unit capacity, which supports a team-focused approach.
