Traveling Ultrasound Tech / Sonographer

Join the team as an Ultrasound Technologist (Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) where you will operate specialized ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images used by physicians to diagnose and treat medical conditions. This position supports patient care at a hospital in Asheville, NC. Applicants should be prepared to work in a fast-paced, hospital imaging environment supporting a range of inpatient and outpatient diagnostic needs.

Minimum Qualifications:

• National certification in a relevant specialty from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer in a hospital or comparable acute care setting.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Experience performing general diagnostic sonography examinations and producing diagnostically acceptable images.
• Comfort working in a Level II trauma center environment and collaborating with multidisciplinary clinical teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with vascular, abdominal, obstetric/gynecologic, and small parts ultrasound modalities preferred.
• Familiarity with hospital PACS and electronic health record systems preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 08:30 - 17:00.
