INVENTORY COORDINATOR

Schedule : Full-Time | 36 Hours

Position Summary

For over 40 years, North Hill, a not-for-profit senior living community located in Needham, Massachusetts, has provided vibrant living opportunities to people 65+ by offering a host of hospitality, wellness and health care services. The Inventory Coordinator for assisting the Inventory department in day-to-day operations across the campus. This position may also provide assistance to the Facilities department on an as-needed basis.

Job Specific Duties

• Assists in maintaining stock room in an orderly fashion under supervision of manager
• Assists in breakdown and stocking of any deliveries
• Fills and delivers any stock requests to departments across the campus as needed
• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the stock rooms across campus including sweeping/mopping floors, removing trash and any other items needing to go to the dumpster
• Assists with all inventory counts during the year
• Assists with any other tasks assigned by the manager
• Complies with all safety/environmental procedures, including LIFO/FIFO and hazardous control
• Meets department uniform, appearance and grooming requirements
• Complies with all OSHA safety regulations, local applicable laws regarding health, safety or environment

Required Skills and Abilities

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and strong customer support skills
• Complies with protection of health information (HIPAA) safeguards
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision
• Work professionally with people from a wide variety of cultural and socio-economic backgrounds
• Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with Team Members, Residents, family members, visitors, and the general public
• When working in Resident areas, must be able to communicate effectively in English
• Attends and participates in in-service educational classes, Healthcare Academy and staff meetings as directed
• Must be knowledgeable of LIFO/FIFO procedures
• Must be able to use hand trucks, flat bed carts and pallet jacks

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Must have a valid Driver's License
• Knowledge of basic trades preferred
• Proficient with computer software programs

Satisfactory completion of a background investigation is required for this position.

Pay Range: $19-$21/hour
