CT Technologist

CT Tech II is responsible for operating imaging equipment to perform procedures on a specified patient population. What You Will Do Perform quality radiologic procedures using appropriate technical and safety methods. Assist in the development of others through guidance and teaching. Promote the professional practice of all members of the radiological services team. Monitor and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, quality standards, and policies and procedures. Effectively manage resources such as supplies and equipment. Plan work and complete job responsibilities efficiently and productively. Demonstrate professional work behavior and excellent customer service in all interactions. Perform additional job functions as required. Education & Formal Training Required – Technical Degree or Diploma in Radiology. Experience Required – 1-3 years as a CT Tech I. Licences and Certifications Registered Technologist – Computed Tomography (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists). BASIC LIFE SUPPORT – American Heart Association. Registered Radiologic Technologist – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Effective communication and relationship building with internal and external customers. Demonstrated clinical competencies in radiography imaging equipment and procedures. Basic knowledge of radiology information systems (RIS, HIS, and PACS – preferred). Physical Demands Climbing, pushing, standing, hearing, walking, reaching, grasping, kneeling, stooping, and repetitive motion. Exert up to 50 pounds occasionally or up to 25 pounds frequently. Close visual acuity including color, depth perception, and field of vision. Frequent invasive and non-invasive patient contact. Exposure to patient body fluids and hazardous materials.
