ADAS Hardware Systems Integration Engineer

This position is for an ADAS Hardware Systems Integration Engineer and focuses on ensuring the feature delivers the expectations of the customer. You will develop and implement the next generation data acquisition systems for our next generation of architectures and vehicles. As such, you will collaborate with a cross functional team specializing in hardware and software development as well as interact with feature owners and validation engineers to ensure the project(s) are delivered on-time, with quality and within budget. Our diverse Vehicle and Architecture Engineering Organization is a global team of approx. 4500 employees situated in 12 worldwide locations including Detroit, Palo Alto, Mexico, Europe and Asia. Our team develops and tests vehicle architectures and advanced features and has testing operations around the world and manage a capital expenditure budget of over $1B. As a team player, you will create impact by collaborating with key work partners throughout the Ford Motor Company – research, product, marketing, engineering, test and technology teams.You'll have...Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or related degree3+ years of experience in developing features or systems in the ADAS domain using radars, cameras, or ultrasonic sensors with other related vehicle systems (body, electrical, chassis, powertrain)Troubleshooting experience with electromechanical systemsExperience with instrumentation equipment at the design and development stage as well as application Experience using typical automotive interfaces: CAN, CANFD, Autosar, Auto-Ethernet, etc. Experience using Vector CANape, CANalyzer and dSPACE Controls Desk or similar toolsExperience with Matlab/SimulinkExperience with virtual validation methods (VIL/HIL/MIL)Good communications and project management skillsStrong oral & written skillsAbility to work both independently and take initiative when necessaryStrong teamwork & interpersonal skillsEven better, you may have... This position is a salary grade 8 and ranges from $115,000-$155,000.
