Job Description:
PET imaging and nuclear medicine imaging. Administering radiopharmaceuticals per imaging requirements. Department of 6 technologists.
Responsibilities:
- Performs a wide variety of nuclear medicine and/or PET (Photon Emission Tomography) procedures, including whole body imaging for oncology, nuclear cardiology, clinical imaging, GI imaging, thyroid imaging, and SPECT imaging.
- Performs pharmaceutical and instrument quality control.
- Maintains records for state and federal agencies.
Requirements:
- 2 years experience required
- CNMT OR ARRT, BLS
- Completion of a certificate program that specializes in positron emission tomography
- SIEMENS Biograph PET CT, SIEMENS ECAM
- Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
- Non-Degree Program: Graduate of an AMA approved Radiology or Nuclear Medicine program Required
- Licenses: Registered Technologist (N) Required or Certified Nuclear Med Technologist Required Basic Life Support Required
