EHS Specialist

EHS Specialist BearCat - Wickenburg, AZ 85390 Salary Range $25.00 - $35.00 What You'll Do Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal EHS regulations Support hazard assessments and help teams identify and reduce workplace risks Deliver and coordinate safety training (e.g., Lockout/Tagout, HAZCOM, Emergency Response, Fire Safety) Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions Conduct routine inspections and support environmental programs (SWPPP, SPCC, air emissions, hazardous materials) Assist with sustainability initiatives focused on waste and energy reduction Maintain emergency response plans and participate in drills Promote employee engagement and accountability around safety practices Keep accurate records for EHS activities, OSHA logs, inspections, and training Collaborate with operations, maintenance, engineering, and quality teams to integrate safety into daily work Qualifications Bachelor's degree in EHS, Environmental Science, Occupational Health or other technical field or equivalent hands-on experience. 1-3 years of experience in EHS roles in a manufacturing environment. In-depth knowledge of relevant EHS regulations and standards. Experience with hazard recognition, behavioral-based safety, and job hazard analysis is desired. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Relevant certifications or desire to obtain are a plus (HAZWOPER, LEAN, Confined Space, Lockout Tagout, Train the Trainer). Must have ability to effectively access all work areas of responsibility.
