Manufacturing Technician – 1st ShiftExpress Employment Professionals is hiring a Manufacturing Technician for a manufacturing facility in Winchester, KY.This is a hands-on technical manufacturing position supporting production equipment, machine changeovers, tooling, troubleshooting, and quality. The ideal candidate will have previous manufacturing experience, mechanical aptitude, and experience working around CNC or machining equipment.Job Responsibilities:Perform machine changeovers, setups, and tooling replacementsChange tools, jigs, fixtures, and gauges according to production requirementsAssist Production with troubleshooting machine and machining issuesMonitor tooling and assist with scheduled tool changesInspect parts and help identify quality or process issuesMake minor adjustments to established machine programs, speeds, feeds, and settings as trainedAssist with equipment alarms, machine recovery, and minor repairsPerform rework using manual or production equipmentPrepare tooling for upcoming production needsAssist with maintaining tooling and inventorySupport continuous improvement and 5S activitiesAssist Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and Production as neededHelp train production team members on processes and basic machine troubleshootingMaintain a clean and safe work environmentQualifications:High school diploma or GED3 years of previous factory/manufacturing experience with CNC equipment preferredPrevious machine setup, changeover, tooling, or machining experience is highly preferredBasic mechanical knowledgeBasic understanding of machine programming preferredStrong math and problem-solving skillsBasic computer skills, including Microsoft OfficeAbility to read and follow written work instructionsStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityAbility to communicate effectively and work as part of a teamDependable attendance and a safety-focused attitudeAdditional Experience That Would Be Helpful:CNC machine operationMachine setup/changeoversG-code or basic CNC programmingTooling, jigs, and fixturesLathe or mill experienceWeldingQuality inspection and gaugesTroubleshooting production equipmentPreventive maintenanceBlueprint or technical drawing experiencePhysical Requirements:Ability to stand and work on your feet for extended periodsFrequent bending, squatting, reaching, grasping, and repetitive hand/arm movementAbility to lift approximately 10–40 lbs.Comfortable working around manufacturing equipment and machineryAbility to follow all required PPE and safety procedures
