AHMG Radiation Oncology at AdventHealth Winter Park APRN or PA-C ADVENTHEALTH MEDICAL GROUP RADIATION ONCOLOGY AT CENTRAL FLORIDA Overview Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) Full Time Opportunity at AdventHealth Winter Park General Summary: Perform physical examinations of patients and evaluate and treat radiation oncology patients in outpatient and inpatient settings Assist with the survivorship clinic and collaborate with surgical oncology Order and interpret appropriate diagnostic tests such as routine laboratory, X-ray, etc. Monitor the patient’s course of treatment and make appropriate referral to a physician or specialist as needed Collaborate with physician supervisor and staff as necessary to provide consistent care to patients and support to staff Display a caring and professional attitude at all times and maintain personal and professional growth Manage conditions including cancers of brain, head & neck, skin, thorax, breast, gastrointestinal system, genitourinary system, gynecologic system, lymphatic system Knowledge and Skills Required: Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, patients, and the public Strong communication skills Strong medical decision-making skills are a must Radiation Oncology experience preferred; strong clinical background with sub-specialty oncology related conditions beneficial Candidate must be able to pass a third‑party background check and pre-employment drug screen Schedule: Monday‑Friday, 8:00 AM‑5:00 PM Campus: AH Winter Park Required Education/Experience: Master’s degree in APRN or Physician Assistant studies 1‑2 years of sub‑specialty experience in Oncology and/or Radiation Oncology experience as an APRN or PA Bi‑lingual Spanish preferred not required Licensure, Certification, and Registration: Current valid Florida ARNP or PA license ANCC, AANP (or equivalent) or NCCPA certification required BLS and ACLS required ONS Certification preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr Stryker Corporation
