Department of Veterans Affairs offers healthcare services to eligible military veterans at VA medical centers and outpatient clinics across the country. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (included but not limited to):

• Decontaminate, sterilize and assemble dental and/or surgical instrument sets and reprocessing flexible endoscopes
• Maintain, store and packing of reusable medical equipment (RME) as well as document sterilization and decontamination processes
• Examine condition of supply items
• Assemble/Package/Wraps/Sterilize supply items
• Distribute items to wards, clinic units or operating rooms
• Receive, store, control supply item stock

Requirements:

• IAHCSMM Certified or CCSPD Certified
• At least 1 year of experience in related field
• Direct work experience working in a healthcare setting as an operating room technician, medical instrument technician.
