Job Description Seeking a motivated, dependable, and safety-focused CDL Class A Multi-Skill Driver to join our growing team. Job Overview As a CDL A Multi-Skill Driver, you'll safely operate commercial vehicles while supporting a variety of transportation and freight needs. This position is ideal for drivers who are adaptable, dependable, and willing to take on different assignments as business needs change. Pay DOE Responsibilities Safely operate CDL Class A tractor-trailers with dry van trailers while following all DOT regulations and traffic laws. Operate both manual and automatic transmission commercial vehicles. Load and unload freight using proper lifting and cargo securement techniques. Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections, including brakes, tires, lights, fluid levels, and cargo securement. Plan efficient delivery routes while maintaining on-time performance. Complete driver logs, DVIRs, and other required documentation accurately. Assist with transporting freight using dry vans, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, or other equipment as needed. Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and team members. Maintain a clean, organized vehicle and report maintenance concerns promptly. Represent Thomas Enterprises with professionalism and outstanding customer service. Qualifications Valid CDL Class A License Clean driving record Recent commercial driving experience preferred Knowledge and ability to operate both manual and automatic transmission trucks Experience with dry van operations required Experience with flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, or tanker trailers is a plus Understanding of DOT regulations and Hours of Service requirements Forklift experience is a plus but not required Strong work ethic with the ability to adapt to changing assignments Excellent communication and time-management skills Commitment to safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction Pay Depends on Experience What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who isn't afraid of a challenge.
