About the Position

Our client is seeking a skilled CDL A Truck Driver for local delivery operations based in Fairfield, Ohio. This role involves delivering paper products to Walmart and other stores throughout Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, and West Virginia.

Pay & Schedule

Pay Rate: $28–$30 per hour
Average Weekly Pay: $1,200–$1,800
Schedule: Monday through Friday
Start Time: Between 3:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m.
Hours: 40 hours per week
Overtime: Available after 40 hours
Employment Type: Temp-to-perm
Expected Start Date: August 31, 2026

Job Details

Route Type: Local delivery
Freight: Paper products
Equipment: Automatic transmission vehicles
Handling: Unloading with a pallet jack and, when needed, a two-wheel dolly
Overnight Stays: Occasionally required, with a $40 food per diem

Key Responsibilities

Deliver products to stores and other designated locations in a timely manner.
Unload freight safely using a pallet jack and two-wheel dolly.
Maintain accurate logs and records, including paper logs when electronic logging device issues occur.
Follow all applicable safety regulations and operating procedures.
Provide professional service at each delivery location.

Minimum Requirements

Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience.
Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
