Phlebotomist - Float
Labcorp
Labcorp seeks a float phlebotomist to perform blood collections across multiple sites in the Franklin, Wisconsin area. The position involves venipuncture and capillary techniques, specimen processing, patient data entry, and administrative duties with a flexible schedule and travel between locations.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for diverse patient populations
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests
- Enter patient information and maintain specimen logs accurately
- Prepare specimens for testing and process billing information
- Provide customer service and travel to additional sites as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum one year phlebotomy experience or accredited certification
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass color blindness test
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proven customer service track record
- At least 21 years old
Compensation: Float incentive: additional $2.00/hr plus mileage reimbursement; quarterly bonus eligible through PST Incentive Plan
