Phlebotomist

Overview We are excited to welcome a Phlebotomist to join our team and support high-quality patient care at our busy Family Internal Medicine – Woodbridge. Responsibilities Operate and maintain laboratory equipment. Respond to internal and external customer inquiries and resolve problems. Interact frequently with hospital and physician office staff. Perform EKG and glucose meter testing as needed. Provide bedside patient care. Location Woodbridge, VA Work Shift First (Days) Schedule Monday through Friday; 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM Education High School Diploma or Equivalency required Qualifications / Experience Completion of a Phlebotomy Program or course may be accepted in lieu of 1 year of phlebotomy experience (preferred). EMR experience highly preferred. Certification / Licensure Basic Life Support (BLS) – Certification – American Heart Association (AHA) RQI required within 90 days of hire.
