Cash Application Specialist

As a Cash Application Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations. Your primary responsibilities will include managing bank correspondence and assisting customer service with resolving customer concerns. You will also be assisting our offshore group. This role is integral to maintaining our financial integrity and supporting the Finance team in achieving its objectives. The ideal candidate pays close attention to detail and ensures accuracy in their processing.

salary: $20 - $22 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8:30 AM - 5 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

 Manage bank correspondence effectively
 Review and confirm the accuracy of system-generated policyholder refunds
 Post policyholder payments into the policy administration system
 Analyze aged A/R balances for write-off
 Respond to customer service requests such as voiding and reapplying funds, cash investigations,
expedited refunds, credit card voids, chargebacks, and voiding and reissuing checks
 Handle escalated queries

• Cash Applications (1 year of experience is required)
• Basic Accounts Receivable (1 year of experience is required)
• Claims Processing
• Excel
