Direct Support Professional Flex

Life Skills and Transition Center (LSTC) in Grafton, North Dakota is hiring Flex Direct Support Professionals. We will train onsite – no experience required. Work Shift Rotating shifts: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM and 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM, every other weekend. Overnight shifts: 9:45 PM – 6:15 AM, two weekends on and one off. Hours may vary to meet department needs. About the Role You will assist residents at the Life Skills and Transition Center in completing daily living activities to promote their independence and transition to community providers. Responsibilities include helping individuals identify learning goals, practicing new skills, maintaining a clean and safe environment, modeling effective communication and socialization, teaching self‑advocacy and self‑help strategies, and observing, monitoring, documenting and reporting their progress both orally and in writing. Qualifications To be considered for this position you must have a high school diploma or GED. No experience is required; on‑site training will be provided. You should have a person‑first approach and the ability to convey information accurately, respectfully and thoroughly, both verbally and in writing. Basic computer skills to log on and enter information into specific computer programs are required.
