Staff Accountant

salary: $28 - $31 per hour

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities

● General Ledger & Reporting: Maintain the general ledger; prepare monthly balance
sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
● Reconciliations: Perform monthly reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and
general ledger accounts.
● Month-End Close: Execute the month-end/year-end closing process, including journal
entries, accruals, and fixed asset depreciation.
● Accurately code invoices, verify deposits, and manage accounts AP/AR Management
receivable collections.
● Ensure all transactions comply with GAAP; assist with federal, state, and local tax
filings; and provide necessary documentation for audits.
● Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and
opportunities for cost reduction.
